Dr. Castor was born in the New England town of Keene, New Hampshire. He graduated from Keene High School in 1993. Dr. Castor's sense of adventure and his love for helping people led him to a career in the United States Air Force. As a Pararescueman in the Air Force, Dr. Castor received special training in parachuting, scuba diving, rock climbing and survival skills, to deliver emergency medical treatment to wounded individuals in remote locations. His military awards and medals include several Aerial Achievement Medals and a Purple Heart.
After completing nine years of military service, Dr. Castor attended Valdosta State University and then the Medical College of Georgia, graduating with his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2006. Upon graduation he returned to South Georgia and worked as a general dentist in the dental clinic of Southwestern State Hospital in Thomasville. There he provided comprehensive dental care to individuals with physical and mental disabilities.
In November of 2006 Dr. Castor established Lakeland Family Dentistry, where he presently provides dental services to the people of Lanier County and surrounding areas.
Dr. Castor currently resides in Valdosta with his wife, Jessica, and their three children, Madeline, Louden and Layla.
